A Seed of Hope Family Counseling Center, PLLC is currently seeking passionate, licensed mental health professionals (LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, Ph.D., Psy.D.) to join our team. We are a Christian-based practice dedicated to providing compassionate care in a supportive and faith-centered environment.
Therapists have the option to see clients in person at our Portage office and/or through our secure Telehealth platform.
ASOH Counseling Requirements:
⦁ Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health fields
⦁ Licensed as an LMSW, LPC, Ph.D., Psy.D., Psychologist, or equivalent licensure recognized by the state
⦁ LLMSWs accepted only if supervision is completed on-site at ASOH
⦁ In good standing with the Michigan Board of your discipline and relevant national regulatory bodies
⦁ Current malpractice insurance with a minimum of $1M/$3M coverage
⦁ Minimum availability of 10 hours per week for client sessions
⦁ Proficiency in evidence-based practices, assessments, treatment planning, and progress note documentation
⦁ Completion and timely submission of clinical paperwork and billing invoices
⦁ Maintenance of CEUs, with documentation submitted to the practice
⦁ Participation in weekly clinical in-services and staff meetings (schedule subject to change)
⦁ Attendance at a comprehensive orientation, including an opportunity to consult with our CPA
⦁ Secured email issued and private number for professional use
At A Seed of Hope, we have a strong passion for serving teen girls through counseling and workshops. We are looking for clinicians who bring their own niche and passion to the team—specialties that make them unique and expand the care we offer as a group practice.
Current Focus Areas Include:
⦁ Teen Girls: Individual therapy and workshops
⦁ Couples Counseling: Pre-marital, relationship, and marriage support
⦁ Mental Health Services: SUD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and more
⦁ Child Therapy: Counseling for young children using age-appropriate methods
⦁ DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy): Structured skills-based support
